Hello Robert,
I just wanted to say that you would surely like Kubrick’s Prophecy by Galen Bullard. I read the book in one sitting, going wow. Bullard explains how Kubrick’s vision was complete, no 2010 needed. Despite a university film background, Bullard does not focus on props and lighting or “the making of” but on the meaning in the script.
Some years back at the Calgary film festival Bullard introduced the movie after practising his talk at my toastmasters club, and then next day at the Glenbow museum he chaired an excellent classroom discussion. I was a big help because I know about warming up public meetings.
