Monday Spotlight: SF for People Who've Never Read SF Before

As we slide into summer, people's minds often turn to reading. Twelve years ago, I was asked by Now, Toronto's weekly entertainment paper, to suggest some Science Fiction for People Who've Never Read SF Before. I still recommend all the choices on the list, and I offer it up as this week's Monday Spotlight, highlighting one of the 500+ articles on my web site at sfwriter.com.

That's a great reading list. I would have added Carl Sagans Contact in there but hey that's just me. The choices are endless.

BTW, over the last couple of days I've noticed your sidebar not showing. I get this big black space. Is it just me (IE) or do others notice it missing to?

Gak! Thanks for letting me know, Jim. It was displaying just fine in Firefox. I found the problem (an oversized graphic), and fixed it. The sidebar should be back now. :)

Glad to help. My machine is probably too slow to run Firefox anyway. I had it on my W98 machine but IE works fine on this one almost a year old now.

Well, back to work before the puck drops at 6pm.

Jim
