More on this later, but I wanted to get the word out. I won't be at ToBeCONtinued this weekend; the con never got around to booking tickets for me, despite my repeated reminders.

That's a frustrating pain in the butt. I guess now you'll be getting more work done on your novel :)
Really though, that's all pretty poor performance, if XXXX was sick (etc), they should have gotten someone else to handle it - way back in Feb? Mar?
However, knowing what a great guy you are, all I can say is, "it's their loss". So relax a bit, kick back, and do what you do best.
