Monday Spotlight: Print on Demand
Well, given all the discussion between me an Evo Terra about new publishing and distribution paradigms here and here and here this past week, my choice for this week's Monday Spotlight, highlighting one of the 500+ documents on my website at sfwriter.com, is this piece I wrote in 1998 about "Print on Demand."

I've really enjoyed reading your views on Print On Demand publishing. You've really opened up my eyes to a lot of the issues involved.
I was wondering if you were aware of J. Michael Straczynski's publishing of his scripts using Cafe Press's POD system (more info at
http://www.babylon5scripts.com/).
Since JMS is not an author per se, and since he is an established creator/name, his situation is different from what you've been discussing. However, I'd love to hear any thoughts you have on POD in light of his success in this venture.
