Minnijean Brown Trickey was one of the Little Rock Nine, and is a prominent Civil Rights activist; Dr. Michael Emond, of Laurentian's Department of Psychology nominated science-fiction writer Robert J. Sawyer for his honorary doctorate, which he will receive later today.
