Ooops!
So, this evening, after a wonderful dinner out with my family, Carolyn and I went on to pick up a friend. Said friend lives in an apartment building with very nice grounds, but as we opened the door of our car to let him in, I remarked that "it smells like a cloud of pesticide got blown in."
Um, nope. Turned out it was said friend's cologne!
Eeep!

That's a more common reaction to cologne in general these days, it seems to me. Between my own occasional discomfort to similar exposures and my fear of triggering an allergic reaction in the wrong person - a bus driver for instance, or a colleage at a day job, the latter of which I've seen on occasion - I've forgone cosmetic scents as a general rule.
