... they cut the check! I received today the big purchase-price payment from ABC for the TV rights to my novel Flash Forward. Woot!
Filming of the series pilot begins in four days, on Saturday, February 21. Carolyn and I have booked our flights to L.A., and will be going down to watch part of it.

Outstanding news. This is one of my favourites of yours (something odd about the syntax there, but too tired to figure it out). Looking forward to the pilot.
Awesome! I hope they either give it enough time to carefully develop it's story and characters - or the creators manage to produce a pilot that blows us all away from the first second. :-)
Anyway, congratulations.
