USA Today has first official Flash Forward picture

USA Today yesterday had the first official photo from the ABC series pilot based on my novel Flash Forward (above; click for larger version; photo by ABC's Ron Tom), and in their article they say:
There are still a few big bets [for the fall TV season]:

• ABC is spending $7 million on Flash Forward, an ambitious series based on the sci-fi novel that it hopes is the next Lost. (Everyone blacks out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and has a vision of the future.)
The coverage at USA Today Online is here.

Not yet. ABC will announce its fall line-up on May 18 and May 19. But we've got our fingers crossed!

Hi Robert, We received our copy of Flash Forward yesterday. Andy was thrilled. We can't wait to read it. Please thank Carolyn also. Keeping our fingers crossed too that the show will be picked up.

It was my pleasure, Mary Anne! And, indeed, I do hope the show is picked up! :D

I must be hopelessly out of touch, that I'm only hearing about this now. Flash Forward is my favorite of your novels (with all the others tied for second) and I'm so pleased to see anything of yours adapted, but especially this. Best of luck. We'll be watching.

Yesterday I attended the german premiere of the new "Star Trek" movie (I.e., I didn't have tickets but watched the stars arrive on the blue [!] carpet.). There I saw John "Sulu" Cho, e.g., and asked him about "Flash Forward" - but didn't get any reply, unfortunately. I guess he's contractually obliged not to talk about it, yet.
