Do you have a premier date?
As the article says, "Fall premiere dates will be announced at a later time." :)
Thought it was going to be a Lost companion -- but from what I hear, 'Grey's Anatomy' does all right. :) What a time slot!
LOST is not returning this Fall; it doesn't come back (for its final 17 episodes) until January 2010.
I'm probably the only one in the world who thinks this is way cool, but Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. is when the original STAR TREK was first airing, back in 1966. :)
Haha, if you think you're the only one who thinks that's cool, you don't know your audience very well!
It sounds like it's only taking the basic premise of the book though right?
I should say the basic premise of this book is what got me reading your stuff to begin with after reading about it on aintitcoolnews. I've been happily plowing through your books since then. Hopefully the show will have the same effect on other readers.
The Snake, I'm not at liberty to comment about the ways in which the story has been adapted from my novel, but I am very pleased and impressed by the adaptation.
Sweet time slot!
It should be a lot of fun. I agree that you have great premises but it's how they're explored through the humanity of the characters that makes the exploration of the ideas fun.
But I'll never forget that it's you who sold me on your books, years ago at a lonely little table in World's Biggest Bookstore.
You were so positive and engaging that I bought the three starter books you recommended from you directly.
Three cheers for the hardest working man in sci-fi.
