Looking for a keynote speaker?
I do lots of keynotes about science, technology, and the future (in fact, I'm off to do one today) -- and Speakers' Spotlight, the speakers' bureau I work with, has just revamped its web page about me.

Hmm, your topics look like essays I'd love to read. You should publish a collection!
Note the topic 'facing technology together' accidentally appears twice in the list in the righthand frame.
Thanks, Fish! I'll get them to fix that error.
And, actually, I do have a published collection of my essays and speeches (although it doesn't cover all the topics listed on the Speakers' Spotlight website, and covers a lot more, mostly related to science fiction, that aren't). It's the Aurora Award-winning RELATIVITY, and it's available here (and from Amazon, etc.):

Curiously enough I was just talking to someone yesterday about contacting you for a presentation. It looks like you'll be in Calgary in March, and I was thinking of something during the summer. Sadly, it looks like you will be busy July, August and September.
Maybe later in the year. Do you know of anyone local to Calgary that might have some topics of public interest prepared?
Hi, Technotaoist! Good to see you here. Sadly, yes, I'm pretty much unavailable July, August, and September this year, as I'll be in the Yukon.
I will indeed be in Calgary on Thursday, March 15, speaking at the Telus World of Science in the evening in a talk sponsored by the Calgary Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
Danita Maslankowski (who writes as Danita Maslan) is an educator at an ecopark in Calgary, and could probably do a great ecologically themed talk; that could certainly be of general interest:

Thanks. I'll have a look.
Hmm, guessing we won't see you at Con-Version this year. Ah well. Maybe I'll get a chance to see you in March.
