Gliksins ate Neanderthals
Fascinating article about, among other things, Homo sapiens dining on Homo neanderthalensis in Britain's Daily Mail.
Of course, I said we were the cause of the Neanderthals demise in my novel Hominids and its sequels. :)

From the article:
"Mr Rozzi believes the jawbone provides evidence that Neanderthals were attacked and sometimes killed by humans, who then brought their bodies back to caves to eat or used their teeth and skulls as trophies."Horror always sells, Rob. I smell a new Neanderthal trilogy! ;-)
Read "Peking Man" John. :)

I can just imagine Ponter's reaction.
That conclusion doesn’t surprise me at all.
I once wrote a dark SF story on the subject.
