FlashForward credits from CTV
ABC did a squeeze-and-tease on the ending credits of FlashForward, the TV series based on my novel of the same name, devoting most of the screen to a promotion for future episodes of the series. But CTV's /A\ in Canada ran the credits full screen. Here are screen captures from the streaming-video version of the first episode (which Canadian viewers can watch on the CTV.ca website). This will presumably be the DVD/Blu-Ray version of the credtis, as well.

Hi Rob,
Maureen and I made sure we watched the opening episode of the new series this past Thursday.
First of all we are more than thrilled for you and if anyone deserves this more than you, I cannot name them. You have been such a promoter of many crime writers, my wife included, so that is that.
The great thing is the show is terrific and the lead is one of the big reasons it is so good along with the premise.
You must have s..t yourself when you found out who the lead was going to be! Shakespeare in love meets Rob Sawyer's inagination!!
Anyway perhaps the producers would allow Gwyneth a cameo!!
Anyway the woman cast as his wife/doctor is fantastic and so real, and the oriental side kick reminds me of George Takei from Star Trek, which is a good thing if you are from my era!!
I am hooked! I gotta know what happens, I love Joe!!
Anyway it shows to go you how important casting a solid lead is in a television series, one who can carry the whole thing.
So . . .on to next week and I will say one thing!! Those ABC people better put your name on the credits so we can SEE it!!
Pass this along if you want.
Our best wishes
Iden and Maureen
Did you get a screen credit for your cameo (which I missed, BTW)?

Hi Rob.
I have read and loved all of your novels. Having just watched the first two episodes of FlashForward I can't help thinking they have 'dumbed it down' a little. It is still great watching though - and it was never going to be as good as your book! They left your name off the credits in Australia as well:(
Keep up the great work mate - I can't wait for the next WWW.
Best Regards.
Bruce.
