Screen captures of my little FlashForward cameo
I'm very briefly in the first scene of the third act of the first episode of FlashForward, the ABC TV series based on my novel of the same name.
Remember the scene that ends with the guy watching the TVs through the store window with Joe Fiennes's character, and the guy says, "It's the whole world." Then there's a commerical break, and when we come back, Joe's character gets a call from Sonya Walger's character; I'm in the background of two of the shots of Sonya, talking on a cellphone.
Here are two wide-screen screen captures of Robert J. Sawyer's cameo in the FlashForward pilot, courtesy of FlashForwardTV.com.

I had the episode on my PVR, so rewound it when I thought I caught a quick glimpse of you behind her in that scene.
Great that you made a cameo, Rob.
And I love the surprised look on your face -- you look like you'd just experienced a world-wide phenomenon of a 2 minute and 17 second blackout in which your consciousness flashed forward 6 months into the future or something . . .
I watched tonight on Hulu! Two big thumbs up! I was very surprised to see Seth MacFarlane in there as an FBI agent!
Looking forward to the series, and congratulations to you Robert!
That. Was awesome.
Rob, you're appearance on the screen was such a delicious surprise! You're the Man!
By the way, I loved the premiere! So far the changes to your stories are not far from the original. It was clever how you brought the story to North America. Congratulations!
That's pretty much the look I'd make standing that close to her too. You lucky dog... :-)
I thought Flash Forward was excellent. Alot of my friends are watching it as well.
I hope you can get out to a few cons next year to talk about it. Dragon*con would be cool. : )

I almost had the same look on my face on Sunday when my sister, who does not like science fiction, asked me if I had seen FlashForward. She loved it! And so did I.
Looking forward to the next episode. Also noticed that FlashForward made the twitter trends for today
